BART riders traveling to and from San Francisco International Airport should expect delays late at night next week because of ongoing planned construction work, the transit agency said.
According to BART, trains will run about 30 minutes late starting at 9 p.m. Sunday through Jan. 29 for riders traveling between the Millbrae, SFO and San Bruno stations.
The delays are due to train control modernization work that was first announced in January 2025, BART officials said.
The work is expected to continue through this summer, according to BART, which updates the agency’s Trip Planner on a weekly basis if the work is scheduled for that week.
Affected passengers are urged to check schedules in advance and allow for delays.
