Bail has been set at $1 million for a South San Francisco man accused of trying to kill his children's mother and then raping her while she was unconscious.
Adebola Aiyedogbon, 48, could be jailed for life if convicted of the attempted murder, assault and sexual assault charges filed against him. Prosecutors say this is a third-strike case for Aiyedogbon, who has previous felony convictions for rape and child molestation.
Aiyedogbon was arrested Sunday morning by South San Francisco police officers responding to reports of domestic violence at a residence on Geddes Court.
Aiyedogbon was arraigned in a Redwood City courtroom Tuesday afternoon. <
