The Knights (9-0 PAL Ocean, 10-4 overall) clinched the Peninsula Athletic League Ocean Division championship with a sweep at Half Moon Bay (6-4 PAL Ocean), dropping just one set on the afternoon. Hillsdale No. 2 doubles Silas Keith and Ahmad Dababo dropped the opening set, but rallied back to defeat Aiden Ta and Tractor Forster 6-7(6), 6-3 10-6. No. 1 single Ameer Dabado earned a breezy 6-1, 6-0 victory. No. 1 doubles Kellen Kalmbach and Evan Motamed won 6-3, 6-0.
By virtue of the league championship, Hillsdale earns a bid to the PAL Tournament beginning Wednesday, April 22.

El Camino (7-0 PAL Ocean) staved off disaster after finishing deadlocked with Hillsdale (4-4) by winning the tiebreaker to remain one of two unbeaten teams in the PAL Ocean Division. EC’s Lia Woo and Georgie Lim earned a big comeback win at No. 1 girls’ doubles 13-21, 21-15, 21-18 over Iris Wong and Liana MaComber. Hillsdale matched the comeback dramatics at No. 1 mixed doubles with Daniel Nowak and Mary Villena rallying past Darren Theiu and Jalyn Sanchez 13-21, 21-18, 21-17.
South San Francisco 17, Mills 13
South City No. 1 boys’ doubles Tyler Chin and Austin Wai rallied for a 21-18, 18-21, 21-12 win over Jonathan Ng and Stephen Rong as the Warriors (2-6 PAL Bay) won at home over Mills (0-9). No. 1 girls’ single Betheny Lo added a 21-10, 21-10 victory for South City. Mills No. 1 boys’ single Leran Mao won 21-12, 21-14.
Burlingame 23, San Mateo 7
The Panthers (6-2 PAL Bay) rolled to victory at rival San Mateo (3-6), fronted by sweeps from No. 1 boys’ single Alvin Ho, and No. 1 girls’ single Allison Duh. No. 1 girls’ doubles Nicole Huang and Tingting Wang held on for a 21-13, 11-21, 21-9 win over Surbhi Sakshi and Zoe Lin. San Mateo earned the win at No. 1 mixed doubles as Nathan Kuang and Vivian Shi rolled 21-19, 21-8.
