Hillsdale 11, Aragon 1
Giuliana Brum totaled three hits and three RBIs, while Sophia Shelton and Kayla Nolan added three hits and two RBIs apiece, as Hillsdale (7-1 PAL Bay, 13-7 overall) rolled to a regulation win at Aragon (5-3, 12-9). The Lady Knights took a 6-2 lead into the seventh, and tacked on a 5-spot in their final at-bat. Lola Jones went the distance to earn the win, allowing two runs on eight hits while striking out seven. Her record improves to 5-2 with a 1.84 ERA. Aragon was paced by junior Taylor Workman’s two hits, improving her batting average to .653 on the year, ranking eighth in CCS, and tops in all the PAL.
With the win, Hillsdale leapfrogs San Mateo and into first place by a half game in the PAL Bay Division.
El Camino 15, Jefferson 0
Juliana Bazlamit homered, while Juliana Escobar went 2 for 3 with four RBIs as the Lady Colts (2-4 PAL Lake, 3-9 overall) rolled to a three-inning mercy-rule home win over Jefferson (0-5, 0-9). Bazlamit is now batting .556, ranking third in the PAL Lake Division. Starting pitcher Izzy Totah earned his first career win, facing one over the minimum, while striking out five.
Design Tech 15, KIPP Collegiate 2
The Dragons (5-0 PSAL, 8-3 overall) scored crooked numbers in each their four at-bats to claim a five-inning mercy-rule win over KIPP Collegiate-San Jose (2-3, 2-3) at the Belmont Sports Complex. Freshman Kendall Hom led the way, going 3 for 3 with a home run and five RBIs. Sophomores Angelica Soto and Sonia Teismann added two hits and three RBIs apiece. Freshman left-hander Adelaide Chuang overcame a bout of wildness, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits through five innings, while walking six and striking out 11. With the win, her record improves to 6-0 with a 2.61 ERA.

Castilleja 9, Half Moon Bay 5
Leading 3-1 in the fourth, Castilleja-Palo Alto (2-4 PAL Lake, 5-7 overall) blew it open with a six-run rally to earn the home win over Half Moon Bay (3-1, 7-8). Casti banged out 14 hits, with three apiece from Elly An, Rianne Sok and Katherine Cheng.
Los Gatos 12, Capuchino 2
Los Gatos junior Grace Tucker totaled four doubles and five RBIs to lead the Wildcats (17-1) in non-league action at Capuchino (6-10). The Lady Mustangs totaled just four hits on the day, with freshman Valeria Gomez going 1 for 2 with an RBI, and junior Lily Thomas tripling and scoring a run. Junior starter Danica DeSantis earned the win for Los Gatos, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits through five innings, while striking out five.
