San Mateo 5, Monterey Peninsula 0
Emily McAdams tossed a no-hitter as the Bulldogs clinched the Coast Conference-North championship with the win over the Lobos, which were ranked No. 1 in the state earlier in the season.
McAdams walked one and hit a batter to spoil a perfect-game bid, but she notched a no-hitter with a flourish, striking out 15. She improved her record to 21-1 on the season.
Mandy Ubois-Weitenhagen went deep for the 10th time this season, while Aubrie Businger, Kait Grech and Riley Donovan all notched one RBI apiece.
CSM (10-0 conference, 30-2 overall), the top-ranked team in the state, has a five-game lead over both Foothill and Ohlone with just four games remaining in league play.
The loss for Monterey (8-2, 26-3) knocks it out of first place in the Coast Conference-South, dropping the Lobos one game behind San Jose.
The Bulldogs will take their 23-game winning streak to Stockton Saturday for a non-league showdown with state power San Joaquin Delta at noon. Delta (26-3) is currently ranked No. 1 in Northern California in strength of schedule, CSM is No. 2 in the RPI.

Baseball
Livermore 6, Carlmont 1
The Scots took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third, but the Cowboys hung a six-spot on them in the bottom of the inning as part of the Big O Tires tournament at Livermore High School.
Its the third straight loss for Carlmont (8-6 overall).
Carlmont’s lone run came when Sean Vanderaa singled with two outs and stole second. He scampered home on a single to center by Tyler DeSmidt. Ryan Busser followed with a double, the Scots’ only extra-base hit of the day.
Aiden Woodring took the loss, allowing six runs — but only two were earned.
Softball
Mercy-Burlingame 16, Mercy-SF 1
The Crusaders scored seven runs in the first and added six in the third to cruise past the Skipper in a 15-run, mercy-rule win to remain undefeated and atop the WBAL standings.
Mercy-Burlingame (7-0 WBAL, 8-6 overall) had only two RBIs in the game, however, as Mercy-SF (0-4, 0-6) committed four errors. Isabel Bojorquez and Ryan Galea were both credited with knocking in a run,
Ariana Montiel went 4 for 4 with three runs scored, while Bojorquez had three hits.
Sorina Larsen earned the win for the Crusaders, throwing a four-inning no-hitter. She struck out nine, but walked eight.
The Crusaders will host Notre Dame-Belmont at 4 p.m. Monday at Cuernavaca Park in a key WBAL showdown.

Sacred Heart Prep 18, Bishop’s School-La Jolla 3

The Gators turned a close match at halftime into a blowout as they scored 11 times in the second half to beat the visiting Knights in a non-league match.
SHP led 7-3 at halftime.
Tommy Barnds paced the Gators’ attack with four goals. Five others chipped in with two goals each: Billy Barnds, Joe Sonsini, Ben Ramsey, Wilson Weisel and Will Garlinghouse.
Larry Hart, Patrick Hagerty, Tommy Barnds and Ramsey each had two assists apiece as well.
Cody Weibe and Brodi Taweel combined for two saves each in goal for SHP.
Boys’ tennis
Crystal Springs 7, King’s Academy 0
The Gryphons dropped only one set in a sweep of the Knights.
Andres Montoya dropped the second set 4-6 in his No. 4 singles match. But he prevailed 11-9 in a third-set super tiebreaker to win the match.
Josh Chan dropped only two games in a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles, Brian Bilsey won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
College baseball
Skyline 6, Cañada 5
The Trojans broke a 5-5 tie with a run in the top of the ninth inning to beat the rival Colts in a Coast Pacific meeting.
Skyline (4-4 conference, 16-13 overall) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first and extended it 5-0 with two more in the fourth before Cañada (6-5, 13-14-2) got on the board with a run in the bottom of the fourth.
The Colts closed to 5-4 with two more in the fifth and single run in the sixth. Cañada tied the game with a run in the bottom of the eighth before the Trojans regained the lead in the ninth.
Noah Marcelo, Max Jenkins and Matt Leong each drove in a run for Skyline, with Marcelo going deep. Marcelo led the team with three hits, while Kaleb Keelan, Leong and Mitchell Plane each had a pair of hits.
Mike McNanie drove in a pair of runs for Cañada, while Jordan Brandenburg and Zachary Campbell each had an RBI as well.
Derek Flowers, the third pitcher of the day for Skyline, earned the win, pitching a perfect ninth. Dylan McDonald started and went six innings, allowing four runs on 11 hits.
Brandenburg was saddled with the loss. Sergio Noriega started for the Colts, going eight innings, allowing five runs on 10 hits and striking out five.
San Mateo 5, West Valley 0
The Bulldogs scored five runs on 10 hits as they snapped a two-game slide with the Coast Golden Gate Conference with the win over the Vikings.
CSM (7-4 conference, 18-11 overall) took a three lead in the top of the second and then tacked on two more runs in the eighth.
That backed a strong performance from starting pitcher Sean Prozell, who worked a complete game, scattering five hits.
Christian Stapleton was credited with the lone RBI for the Bulldogs, as West Valley (7-4, 14-16) committed three errors.
Alec Ackerman and JJ Ota each had a pair of hits for CSM.
