Menlo-Atherton 60, Aragon 50
First-place Menlo-Atherton (7-0 PAL South, 15-5 overall) maintained its balanced attack to remain unbeaten in PAL South Division play. Junior guard Trevor Wargo led the Bears with four 3-pointers and a team-high 14 points, while Nick Tripaldi and Will Beasley each scored 11, and Justin Anderson added 10. Sam Manu scored a game-high 15 for Aragon (2-5, 8-11).
Sequoia 72, Capuchino 47
The Cherokees (4-3 PAL South, 8-10 overall) outscored Capuchino 21-9 in the second quarter, then added to the lead in the third quarter with a 26-15 run. Gabe Munguia hit four 3s to score a game-high 16 points, and Albert Tuakalau added 13 for Sequoia. Cap (2-5, 6-13) was paced by senior Connor Coplin’s 10 points.
Hillsdale 58, Mills 29
Hillsdale (5-2 PAL South, 12-7 overall) pitched a second-quarter shutout, outscoring Mills 20-0 in the period. Freshman Calvin Mader-Clark and junior Junior Cotton led the Knights with 16 points apiece. Colby Vazquez scored a team-high 14 points for the Vikings (4-3, 8-11).
San Mateo 51, Woodside 46
Senior guard Ryan Miles-Ferguson went for a game-high 33 points and San Mateo (1-6 PAL South, 6-13 overall) earned its first league victory. The Bearcats overcome a three-point deficit after one period with a 12-2 run in the second. Dylan Barnwell poured in three 3s to score a team-high 13 for Woodside (0-7, 5-14).
Westmoor 51, South City 35
John Lloyd Aguas netted double figures for his fourth straight game as Westmoor (5-2 PAL North, 12-8 overall) outscored South City in every quarter. Aguas totaled a game-high 15 point, and Jasaiah Cox added 13. Junior guard Nicholas Alimorong and sophomore forward Terapat Thamok scored 10 points apiece for the Warriors (1-6, 6-12).

With the win, the Rams maintain a second-place tie with Terra Nova and Half Moon Bay in the PAL North, a half game back of first-place Jefferson.
Girls’ basketball
Carlmont 55, Burlingame 31
Ashley Trierweiler could not be contained, scoring a game-high 29 points as the Lady Scots (6-1 PAL South, 15-5 overall) cruised past Burlingame. Jordyn Kanaya scored a team-high nine points for the Panthers (0-6, 5-13). With the win, Carlmont climbs back into a first-place tie with Sequoia in the PAL South Division.
Mills 49, Hillsdale 37
Kaela Stonebarger scored a game-high 16 points as the Lady Vikings (5-1 PAL South, 14-4 overall) maintain outright control of third place in the PAL South Division. Freshman Bailey Fong and sophomore Yazmeen Ramirez scored a team-high 12 points apiece for Hillsdale (1-6, 7-11).
Aragon 64, Menlo-Atherton 55
The Lady Dons (5-2 PAL South, 9-10 overall) earned a critical showdown with M-A in a battle for fourth place in the PAL South Division. Lydia Manu scalded the iron with a game-high 20 points. Jalene Parangan added 17 for Aragon. Junior guard Linnea Lindblom scored a team-high 17 points, and senior forward Erica Fischer added 16 for the Bears (4-2, 9-9).
San Mateo 35, Woodside 33
The Bearcats (3-4 PAL South, 4-14 overall) overcame a one-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter, closing out the game on a 10-7 run. Akenesi Hafoka led San Mateo with 11 points. Natalya Hotovec and Hailey Stewart shared the game-high with 13 points apiece for Woodside (0-6, 9-6).
Terra Nova 46, El Camino 35
Lisa Luhrs knocked down three 3s to score a game-high 13 points as the Tigers (6-1 PAL North, 10-8 overall) maintained outright control of second place in the PAL North Division standings. Jasmine Pon shared the game-high with 13 points for El Camino (2-5, 7-12).
