Hawaii state champion Honolulu will represent the West Region in the Little League World Series after punching its ticket to South Williamsport with a 4-1 win Thursday evening over Southern California champion Golden Hill in San Bernardino.

Honolulu advanced through the winners’ bracket at the Little League West Region Complex, opening the tourney with a 1-0 win Saturday, Aug. 2, over Golden Hill, followed by a 4-3 extra-inning win Monday, Aug. 2, over Northern California champion Alpine-West Menlo.

I hate it when, due to rule changes and modification the current Little Leaguer, shaves, has several layers of leg hair covering both legs and so on and so on. The kid in the picture looks nowhere like a LL ...
