DIVISION I
No. 4 Hillsdale 3, No. 5 Westmont 0
The Knights punched their ticket to the Northern California regional tournament with the win over the Warriors in the CCS Division I bracket. All four semifinal teams in Division I earn berths into Nor Cals.
Hillsdale (14-1-6), which has not lost since its season opener Dec. 3, scored all three goals in the second half. Brady Skidmore scored twice, with Sebastian Nowak adding the third. Lucas Cosmos had a pair of assists, while Max Gallatin picking up a helper, as well.
The Knights will take on top-seeded Alvarez (21-0-0) in Salinas at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Eagles beat No. 8 St. Francis, 3-0.
Westmont finishes the season 12-5-3.
DIVISION II
No. 4 Harbor 2, No. 5 Serra 0
The Padres’ season came to an end with the loss to the Pirates. Serra finishes the season 11-5-5, while Harbor improves to 18-2-1 and will take on top-seeded Mitty in the semifinals.
No. 2 Watsonville 4, No. 7 Woodside 1
Woodside, the second-place finisher in the PAL Bay Division, had its season end with the loss to the Watsonville. Watsonville (18-1-2) led 2-1 at halftime before adding two more in the second half. Woodside finishes the season 11-6-4.
No. 1 Mitty 2, No. 8 Sacred Heart Prep 0
The WBAL champs were shutout by the WCAL runner-up in the first round of the Division II bracket. Mitty improves to 10-6-4 and will take on No. 4 Harbor in the semifinals. SHP finishes the season 13-2-4.
Division III
No. 1 Menlo School 2, No. 8 Alisal 1 OT
The Knights got goals from Chuck Wynn and Declan Sitter as they got past the Trojans in overtime. Cameron Rafati added an assist for Menlo (14-3-4), which will host No. 5 Christopher (13-2-4) in a semifinal match at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Christopher dominated No 4 Gonzales, 4-1. Alisal finishes the year 10-10-1.
No. 7 Monterey 2, Burlingame 2
Monterey wins 6-5 in penalty kicks
It was one and done for the Panthers, as the ’Dores scored twice in the second half to force overtime, eventually winning in penalty kicks. Burlingame finishes the season 11-5-3, while Monterey improves to 13-5-3 and will face No. 3 Del Mar in the semifinals.
Division IV
No. 4 Carlmont 4, No. 5 Willow Glen 2
The Scots prevailed in a high-scoring match to advance to the semifinals. Carlmont (7-6-6) will be on the road at No. 1 Prospect (11-7-2) for a final four match at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Prospect beat No. 8 Silver Creek, 3-1.
No. 3 Sacred Heart Cathedral 2, No. 6 Menlo-Atherton 0
The stay for the Bears, one of the last teams into the CCS field, was a short one as the Irish eliminated them. M-A finishes the season 6-8-7, while SHC (11-8-2) advances to the semifinals against No. 2 Aptos (14-2-3).
Division V
No. 1 Crystal 4, No. 8 Yerba Buena 0
The top-seeded Gryphons are looking to take that next step to a CCS title after dispatching the Aztec Warriors. Crystal (16-2-2) advanced to the CCS Division V championship game last season, falling to top-seeded Milpitas in a shootout. The Gryphons scored twice in each half and move on to host No. Branham (8-5-8) at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Branham buried No. 5 Cupertino, 7-2.

No. 3 El Camino 3, No. 6 Latino College Prep 1
Senior midfielder Andrew Tafolla had a big game in leading the Colts into the semifinals of the Division V bracket with the win over the Golden Eagles. El Camino (19-0-1), one of only two unbeaten teams in the playoffs, got two goals and an assist from Tafolla, with Danny Figueroa Jr. rounding out the scoring. Emilio Jimenez added an assist for the Colts, as well.
El Camino will be on the road at No. 2 Soledad (15-3-3) for a 5 p.m. semifinal game Wednesday. Soledad needed penalty kicks to get past No. 7 Cristo Rey (14-5-2). The teams were tied at 2-all after regulation and overtime, before prevailing 4-3 in spot kicks.
Girls’ soccer
Division I
No. 1 St. Francis 2, No. 8 Carlmont 0
The PAL Bay Division champs got a tough draw for the playoffs, falling to the juggernaut that is the Lancers. St. Francis (18-0-1) has lost only eight games over the last five seasons and will host No. 4 St. Ignatius (13-3-4) in a semifinal game at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Mountain View. Carlmont finishes the season 11-5-4.
Division II
No. 1 Woodside 1, No. 8 Palo Alto 1
Woodside wins 5-4 on penalty kicks
The Vikings gave the top-seeded Wildcats all they could handle, but Woodside prevailed in penalty kicks. Woodside (11-5-3) moves on to the semifinals and will host No. 4 Sacred Heart Cathedral (13-7-1) at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The Irish beat No. 5 Pioneer 1-0.
No. 7 Menlo-Atherton 2, No. 2 Mountain View 0
Cassidy Thomas and Grace Badawi both four the back of the net as the Bears pulled off the upset of the second-seeded Spartans. After a scoreless first half, M-A (11-5-5) scored twice in the second, with Anika Hansen picking up an assist. The Bears will will be on the road at No. 3 Salinas (17-1-1) for a semifinal match at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The Cowboys shut out No. 6 Homestead, 3-0.
Division III
No. 4 Sequoia 2, No. 5 Branham 1
The Ravens scored twice in the first half and then held off the Bruins in the second to advance to the Division III semifinals. Sequoia (9-8-4) will be on the road at No. 1 Aptos (15-4-1) at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The Mariners beat No. 8 Gilroy (13-4-3), 3-0.
No. 3 Monterey 3, No. 6 Sacred Heart Prep 0
After 80 scoreless minutes of regulation, the ’Dores erupted for three goals in the two mandatory overtime periods to eliminate the Gators. SHP finishes the year 8-5-5, while Monterey will take on No. 2 King’s Academy, which beat No. 7 Piedmont Hills, 2-1.
Division IV
No. 1 Aragon 0, No. 8 Pacific Collegiate 0
Aragon wins 4-3 in penalty kicks
The Dons didn’t have an easy journey into the Division IV semifinals, getting past the Pumas in penalty kicks after 80 scoreless minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime. Aragon (7-5-7) will host No. 5 Menlo School at 3 p.m. Wednesday in a semifinal game.
No. 5 Menlo School 1, No. 4 Santa Cruz 0
The Knights, the defending Division III champs, advanced to the DIV semifinals with the win over the Cardinals. It will be an all-San Mateo County semifinal match when Menlo (8-4-7) makes the short trip to top-seeded Aragon at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
No. 3 Crystal 6, No. Silver Creek 1
Leading 1-0 at halftime, the Gryphons exploded in the second half, scoring five times to advance to the Division IV semifinals. Crystal (12-3-5) will go on the road to No. 2 Hollister (13-4-1) for a 5 p.m. semifinal game Wednesday. The Haybalers advanced with a 2-1 win over No. 7 Gunn (12-6-3).
Division V
No. 1 Terra Nova 4, No. 8 Gonzales 1
The Tigers made good on their top seed by cruising past the Spartans. Terra Nova (14-4-1) will host No. 4 Watsonville (13-5-1) in a semifinal game at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The Wildcatz advanced with a 1-0 win over No. 5 Alvarez (8-8-4).
