Never one to be surprised by the (ir?) rationale versed by the mouth of MAGA, I was thrilled to be educated about the definition of “elite” by frequent letter writer Bob Wackerman.

Thanks for your letter, Cory. I’m interested in your reminder to Mr. Wackerman to consult Webster’s for a refresher on the definition of “hyporcrisy.” I’d recommend all Dems do the same, and maybe consult additional dictionaries, because it seems to me that folks such as Newsom and Pelosi telling people to wear masks for Covid and then not wearing masks seems hypocritical. Then of course, we have folks taking 400+ private planes (and who knows how many public planes) to attend, of all things, a climate conference to lecture everyone else about carbon emissions. And now all of a sudden, deporting people is a bad thing? When Obama is referred to as the deporter-in-chief?

I’m not sure Dems should be lecturing anyone about hypocrisy. Or if they do, they should apply their definition to everyone else. But then, their accusations disappear… BTW, how about the federal workers who commuted to the office to protest Senator Joni Ernst forcing them to go to the office. I guess that commute wasn’t too difficult, was it?
