As a concerned citizen, I am writing to you regarding our government’s lack of transparency for 75 years about what it knows about UFOs or what the government now calls unidentified anomalous phenomena.

I remember the explanation used to be that the truth had to be hidden, because a possibility of life outside Mother Earth, might be bad for religion, which was already on shaky ground due to increasing education, at the expense of superstition.

Thanks for your letter, Ellie, but I’d be more concerned about the unidentified people streaming through our open border. They’ll negatively impact us more than UFOs ever would. That being said, I wouldn’t mind seeing UFO reports and photos. In this day and age, we’d likely be able to identify and explain past UFO sightings. As for us being not alone in our galaxy, that’s a possibility, but these alien beings would consider us undeveloped and not worthy of further exploration. And likely laugh that there are folks on Earth who think they can control Mother Nature.
