Editor,

So the debate rages on at the highest and lowest levels over whether or not we need a wall and who will pay for it while the American people pay the price over what is essentially our country’s greatest pissing match (Pardon the term, but what else can you call it?). Ultimately no one wins. When I looked at the projected budget impact this year, I came to a realization. At $5.7B it makes up a mere .00129 of our total budget. That is one tenth of 1 percent of a $4.5 trillion budget. While I personally think there are better ways to ensure border security using technology and manpower for a lot less money, I have a negotiating tip for team Pelosi. Yield and get something as significant in return. Be the better team. Give him the money and let him have his ball and go home. To get it done, insist on an expansion of the Affordable Care Act and get people back to work. That will impact the health, safety and well-being of all Americans far more than Fulton’s ... I mean Trump’s Folly.

Good and practical points! Build a wall and crime will fall! Trump's Folly may become just as prosperous to America as Seward's Folly, thanks to the monies saved due to the reduction in illegal aliens.

What about aliens from outer-space?
