I’m writing in support of Mary Beth Thompson for Sequoia Union High School District trustee. As a two-time local PTA president and longtime high school administrator, I know how important it is to have experienced professionals in the boardroom.
The decisions that trustees make directly affect students, teachers and staff. As a high school principal, former high school teacher and parent, Mary Beth is uniquely qualified to serve as a trustee. She is committed to providing curriculum and class content that best prepares students at all levels to excel. If you compare qualifications and readiness, I think you will agree with me, Congressman Kevin Mullin, former state Sen. Jerry Hill and the Sequoia District Teachers Association that Mary Beth Thompson is the best choice to serve as our next Sequoia Union trustee.
