Regarding “Biden supporters have nerve” (letters, Feb. 2), for once, I must agree with Mr. Guttenbeil. My recent letter (“Rebuttal” Feb. 20) was mostly about my contempt for Trump. It is vitally important to keep him out of office, as he poses a grave threat to this country and what it really stands for. Continuing in this vein, while I gather that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has done good work for renewable energy, indigenous rights and protection of waterways, I do not trust an individual who promotes anti-vaccine misinformation and public health conspiracy theories. He will not win the presidency, but he will take votes away from Biden, which is very concerning. The highest priority in November for any reasonable, right-minded citizen should be to keep Donald Trump out of office. Any alternative, short of Putin, would be preferable.
Here we go again, with Mr. Wright hating our great President Trump more than he loves America. Willfully ignoring treasonous Biden and Biden’s America Last policies. I can’t recall Mr. Wright or ignorant Dems writing about, or defending, Biden’s handling of COVID – letting people continue to die. Biden taking two knees and bowing to his Taliban overlords while gifting them $80 billion in money and weapons. Biden signing an infrastructure bill that spends maybe 5% or real infrastructure. Rising crime rates, higher inflation, rising invasion from the south, rising funds to Ukraine for an unwinnable war, rising number of shaking hands with invisible people… Dems, vote for Trump and if you just can’t, vote for RFK, Jr. Or any alternative, and I mean any (even Mr. Wright), is preferable to bumbling Biden.
Brian - could you be more vague please? "It is vitally important to keep him out of office, as he poses a grave threat to this country and what it really stands for." What exactly is that threat and do you even know what he stands for? Based on your blather, I don't think you have a clue.
Putin prefers Bidden for President which should be a clue. Biden should let the Democrat Convention pick a candidate if he's even compos mentis by then.
