If Americans are unhappy with the way that changes are taking place, an unelected individual making nontransparent, unplanned and apparently not well-thought-out changes, there is one way to send a message of dissatisfaction.
Everyone unhappy can sell shares of Tesla stock short and execute additional shorts if required. If enough Americans are able to do this, the message will be loud and clear. In addition, this might be a great strategy for making some money.
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Krainz, but what happens if everyone happy with Musk buys shares of Tesla stock and executes additional buys, forcing margin calls on those who are shorting Tesla stock? Of course, as long as you’re willing to pay to keep your short position, good luck. Beware, as your advice for shorting Tesla may be a great strategy for losing money and taking it in the shorts, so to speak. BTW, what’s wrong with rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse?
