Editor,

I was shocked and very disappointed that the Supreme Court of the United States decided to kill Terri Schiavo by removing her feeding tube because her husband, Mr. Schiavo, said she would have wanted this. Where is there a written or signed document with her own signature which states that she wants all life support removed? There is none, only her husband's word. Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist and the eight associate judges who took part in this decision, how could you have come with a death sentence against Terri Schiavo without any proof of her consent and instead go by her husband's word of mouth.
