“The United States and Israel must have no part in the reconstruction of Gaza,” so argues a letter in the June 12 Journal. These countries, letter writers Mr. Caggiano and Ms. Taubman, proclaim are in violation of the U.N.’s legal and moral authority.
Are Taubman and Caggiano aware that their arbiter of moral rectitude, the United Nations, welcomes Iran (a regime that murders women who don’t cover their faces according to Islamic law) into its U.N. Commission on the Status of Women?
Are Ms. Taubman and Mr. Caggiano aware that their arbiter of morality, the United Nations, welcomes tyrannical regimes like Russia and China as members of its Human Rights Council?
I’m sure the people of Ukraine, and the Uyghurs in Chinese concentration camps would be gratified to know of Caggiano and Taubman’s sanctimonious endorsement of this ”ethical entity.” In the meantime, Mr. Caggiano and Ms. Taubman, please spare us your hypocritical United Nations hogwash.
