Regarding your front page headline of March 18, “Unprovoked escalation.”
One would think that the massacre 1,200 innocent men, women and children, the brutal capture of 250 hostages and the continued refusal by Hamas to release any further hostages, alive or dead, are sufficient reasons for provocation.
The headline attests to a total lack of journalistic impartiality.
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Danker, but to be fair, I believe the quoted ‘Unprovoked escalation’ headline was based on a statement from Hamas. I don’t think Hamas would say, “Thanks, Israel, for resuming airstrikes after we didn’t want to extend the ceasefire”?
