In response to his letter to the editor regarding 5G facilities, I invite Michael Maslakowski to explore the research presented by Dr. Joel Moskowitz, Ph.D., director of the Center for Family and Community Health at the School of Public Health, UC Berkeley. saferemr.com
If Michael or anyone is struggling with their internet speed, there is a reliable, safe alternative with unmatched speed and capacity — and that is fiber optic cable. Fiber does not emit harmful radiation. I saw an ad today from AT&T offering high-speed fiber optic internet for $42/month. Recently, there was an AP article covering how fiber-optics is finally bringing much needed high-speed internet to tribal lands, connecting them to vital services such as telehealth and education.
There is a reason wealthier communities and Europe underground telecom equipment and strictly minimize wireless facilities in residential neighborhoods.
Of note, former CFO of AT&T Bob Kavner spearheaded the opposition against cell towers near homes in Carmel. Addressing the City Council, Kavner shared telecom’s real motive for investing so much time, money and effort getting towers approved — because it plans to install more and build a commercial network.

“It’s about Verizon’s highly marketed strategy to build a broadband wireless entertainment network to compete with the Comcast service we already receive,” he said. “Verizon has told Wall Street they’ll earn higher margins by streaming.”
There is absolutely no justification to irradiate thousands of people simply to promote the greedy corporate business interests of Big Telecom.
