one school board member was at the neughborhood meeting i wen t over to him and asked if he was the one who wanted to send fc to knolls with kids during remodeling san Mateo well duh he thought it would be so neat to have then together again...well not acceptable .

raising two sons in tne 70's two grandaughters in the 90's i am reminded of the gifted program. one granwas asked to attend college Park where the gifted program was held..being district familiar i knew the school was trying to raise attendance and test scores.. i said no she would attend fc school as i didn't want the years of bussing to become a factor to attende school. we were and are a been there done that school. when 5 schools closed building fc school from julian Crocker we wen to the portables at FCSchool also park and rec meetings were held there. attending the neighborhood discussion about fc school i teachers heard baywood parents refer to north central kids as those kids. fc always beat nnnnnnnn baywood in test score s they were blaming to the bussing of north central to Baywood. Looking iver the teachers at fc school i had met about half in the closing of fiesta gardens i knew almost all of them. Any school closed had fc school kids there 5 schools then. recently the f gifted granddaughter said why didn't ypu let me go to college Park. i wanted to attend and walk to my fcschool. once i wen to knolls to pick up my kindergarten son for swimming and he wasn't there he went home with the walkers

most of my gifted child was deemed a an old soul with all her talent and being gifted...now she is an EMT on Royal ambulance following in her grandpa's shoes...always gifted no matter what grandpa a reired veteran vietnam and captain 33 years hillsborough. Fire..i can't say gifted helped fpr an already old souldno matter wher she goes. give north central their own school they deserve it just like fc does. walk home don't bus . don't blame your low test scores on bussing in North central kids nobody deserves that about other kids enough with sending them all over by bussing. ...
