Editor,

I was dismayed to read the July 12 article “My house or my beach?” regarding the debate to open up California coastal areas to development. I’m acutely aware because friends in the community at Martins Beach live under constant threat of eviction by private and commercial interests.

Bill - you nailed it. His middle name is 'bizarre' based on just about every proposal that he generates. Oddly, there are more lunatics in Sacramento than I would ever have thought and are voted in by others who went off the rails some time ago. The SF Chronicle has an interesting article today about the Democrats digging their own graves. But, even if the Republicans gain more power I don't think this State is salvageable for some time to come..

Mr. Miller - wait until the state tries to implement their “green” electricity programs – windmills in them thar hills as far as the eye can see. On the coast and off the coast…
