We finally have a politician that does the right thing instead of what her party is telling her. Liz Cheney is my hero not because she went against her party but she did what she knew was right. I thought that's what politicians were elected to do. I guess we can dream.
That’s funny, Mr. Nice. I though politicians were elected by the people to do what the people want to do. Because Liz Cheney did what she wanted to do (or was fooled into doing), going against both the people (and her party), the people in Wyoming have spoken and have kicked her out. Many dreams have come true with that development.
Mr. Nice - if our current slate of elected leaders did what we sent them to DC for, they would all have to resign. Not a single one, and on both sides of the isle, is looking out for you and me. They throw us some crumbs now and then. Your endorsement of Ms. Cheney shows that you are a servant of the establishment which she fought hard to defend. Her constituents finally had enough of her and she was booted.
Yeah... regardless of party affiliation, it does not seem that voters are getting their money's worth. I am reminded of a quote by Albert Jay Nock... "If every jobholder in Washington were driven into the Potomac tonight, their places would be taken tomorrow by others precisely like them.”

Hi, Dirk
Yeah... regardless of party affiliation, it does not seem that voters are getting their money's worth. I am reminded of a quote by Albert Jay Nock... "If every jobholder in Washington were driven into the Potomac tonight, their places would be taken tomorrow by others precisely like them.”
