Editor,

Having tried to get elected half a dozen times to Foster City Council, the new mayor of this well run city in the Peninsula has finally made the mark! Honorable Patrick Sullivan is Foster City’s mayor in 2024 and his experience and leadership will ensure the city’s future success and prosperity. As a professional real estate broker he will no doubt put “leadership not politics” in the decision-making and policymaking of this admirable city of over 33,000 citizens. Congratulations Mayor Sullivan.

Patrick, your commitment to public service is finally recognized. I wish you a successful term as Mayor.

Fel, before we anoint Mr. Sullivan a city savior, perhaps we can see how Mr. Sullivan handles the geese poop problem – a problem which has vexed mayors and so-called FC leaders for a number of years. And Mr. Sullivan is a professional real estate broker? A potential conflict of interest? Will Foster City eventually become the City of Gilead? How many buildings have they torn down and replaced with multi-story buildings?
