With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Lois Day on March 24, 2026. Lois Day was a woman of grace, kindness, and joy.
Born in Los Angeles, California, on August 25, 1941. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a true friend. The quiet strength she carried and the lessons she shared will echo through generations.
Lois is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas Day; her children, Laura Wentworth (Brian Wentworth), Jean Stevens (Bruce Stevens), and Kevin Day (Jennifer Fontanella); her 12 grandchildren Cameon Fox (Katrina Fox), Briana Rasmussen (Alex Rasmussen) Ashley Wentworth (Manny Perez) Sonia Wentworth, Lexi DeFelice (Dustin DeFelice), Danny Stevens, Arlen Day and Heron Day; and her 4 great-grandchildren, Luke and Jude Fox, Rudy Perez-Wentworth, Rodney Rasmussen.
Lois is preceded in death by her 13th grandchild Sierra Wentworth.
In place of flowers, a donation can be made in her memory to Cure SMA. A service will be held at a later date.
