Laurie Jean Tipp passed Away unexpectedly at the age of 62 on January 29, 2026
Born on December 15,1963, in Redwood City, CA Laurie was a very talented hair designer, and entrepreneur. She owned and operated Visible Changes Hair Salon and Day Spa for over 25 years in San Mateo, CA.
Known for her talent, generosity and dedication to her craft, Laurie served as both an educator and mentor to many young stylists beginning their careers. She built lasting relationships with her clients and was cherished for her warm spirit.
Always an avid bodybuilder, she also loved trail running and was truly a free spirit.
Along with Horses growing up, Laurie’s passion for saving stray cats was well known in the
Community.
Laurie is survived by her Mother Vera Lindeburg, her sister Juliene, and Patrick Brown, along with her nephews Nicholas & Andrew.
She will be forever missed and lives on in our beautiful memories of her.
A memorial Service at Skylawn Memorial Park will be held on Tuesday, February 17 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Skylawn Chapel.
Burial Service from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. and Reception to Follow at the skylawn dining area.
