Charles Hildebrandt beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away at age 93, on October 24, 2025. Charlie was born in Jamaica, NY in 1932. His formative years began with Catholic school and a tough upbringing. He was shepherded by his beloved great aunt, Helen. After graduating Jamaica High School, he was reacquainted with and married fellow Jamaica High School alum Joyce, who became his rock and the love of his life. He served briefly in the US Army, an accident ending his service time, and promising baseball career. While working at Macy’s, he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Hofstra University, in Long Island, NY, and now the father to two daughters.

His successful career as a Sales Consultant began with a relocation to sunny California in 1964. Charlie and Joyce loved California and took the family on many trips to see the sites there and also Hawaii, which was part of his sales territory. He found his real niche in selling Architectural Design of Industrial Buildings, primarily banks and savings and loans. Of his successful 42 year career, he had many loyal customers that became friends. His last 17 years, he established his own successful firm, with his office located on 25th Avenue.
