Carmel Blandini Harmon, died peacefully at home on June 15, 2018.
Carmel was born in 1927 and raised in San Francisco, where she attended Jefferson High School and worked for many years for the U.S. Postal Service.
She married James Berryessa in 1946 and had two children, Fred and Eydie. She later married Stanford Harmon and they resided in San Bruno.
Carmel is predeceased by first husband, her husband, Stan, and her beloved son Fred.
She is survived by her daughter Eydie Berryessa, sister Evelyn Komro, and many devoted nieces and nephews.
Carmel was an avid Giants fan, and also enjoyed get-aways to Reno with her sisters with whom she was always close.
A private burial was held on June 22 at the Italian Cemetery and she was interned beside her husband, Stan.
There is a baseball diamond in heaven, and Carmel is already cheering, “Go, Giants!”
