Antonio Galletto, MD Photo

On December 20, 2025, Dr. Antonio Galletto peacefully entered into rest at age 93, in his home in Burlingame. He was blessed to enjoy many happy memories with his large family. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Galletto for 52 years; loving father of five good children; cherished Nonno to nine grandchildren; proud Bisnonno to nine great grandchildren; and adored Zio of twelve nephews and nieces in Italy.

Born in Treviso, Italy, he graduated from the University of Padova Medical School with 110/100. At the suggestion of a friend, he moved to New York City at age 26. During his internship there, he met his future wife, Betty, a nurse. They were married in San Francisco where he began his distinguished career in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco. He served as a treasured physician for 32 years. After retiring to Sonoma County, he enjoyed his garden where he planted dozens of fruit trees and all kinds of vegetables.
