A weekend warming trend in the Bay Area is expected with temperatures warming around 10 degrees above seasonal averages, according to the National Weather Service.
Weather officials said daytime temperatures Friday will span from the low 60s to the low 70s at the coast and from the low to mid 80s inland.
On Saturday, daytime temperatures will span from the low 60s to low 70s at the coast and reach the upper 80s and 90s inland, weather officials said.
On Sunday, coastal temperatures will reach the low 60s and low 70s while inland mid 80s to upper 90s are expected. Temperatures will begin to decrease to near seasonal averages on Monday, according to weather officials.
Experts are expecting a low to moderate risk impact for heat-related illnesses to vulnerable populations. Beaches are expected to be busy.
