An 18-year-old Oceana High School student is behind bars on felony charges alleging she posted on Snapchat that she bought a gun and planned to shoot 12 victims earlier this month, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.

Jessica Joy Turla, of Daly City, was charged with 12 counts of attempted criminal threats when she appeared in court Wednesday and will next appear in court June 4 for Superior Court arraignment, according to prosecutors.
