A fight that escalated into gunfire on the 600 block of Whipple Avenue in Redwood City Aug. 3 has led to the arrest of two brothers, according to police.

At about 5:11 p.m., Redwood City police responded to the location and learned two people involved went into a nearby business and initiated a fight with an employee. Co-workers came to the aid of the victim and were able to overpower the suspects. The suspects eventually drew a firearm and began chasing the victims while firing multiple shots at them. No one was struck by gunfire or seriously injured. The suspects fled the scene before the arrival of police who recovered bullet casings and other evidence that helped identify the suspects, Jaime Ontiverosalvarez, 25, and Raul Ontiverosalvarez, 27.
