An 18-year-old San Mateo pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident Monday morning on the 1200 block of S. Norfolk St. and police are looking for the driver of the Ford Mustang that hit him.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. Monday, the pedestrian was struck and was treated for injuries that were not life threatening, including minor injuries to his head and torso, according to San Mateo police.
The vehicle that hit him and left the scene was described as a late model, either 1980s or 1990s, maroon or similar color Mustang with chrome wheels. It should have damage to the front driver side fender and hood, according to police.
