Once in the garbage, isn’t it public?

An unknown person was caught stealing curbside recycling on Broadway in Burlingame, it was reported at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday, May 9.


Suspicious circumstances. An unknown person called a resident claiming to be an Apple representative demanding money in order to do a “virus extraction” but the resident was advised that it was a scam on Cambridge Road, it was reported at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 9.

Stolen vehicle. A vehicle was stolen on Anita Road and City Hall Lane, it was reported at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday, May 9.

Fraud. A resident received a fraudulent check for concert tickets on Arundel Road, it was reported at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, May 9.

Petty theft. Petty theft. A shoplifter was arrested after being caught putting items in their pockets on El Camino Real, it was reported at 11:14 p.m. Tuesday, May 8.

Harassing phone calls. An unknown person kept calling and the resident thinks it was a scam on Cambridge Road, it was reported at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 8.

Reckless driver. A vehicle was seen driving recklessly on Adeline Drive and El Camino Real, it was reported at 8:11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8.
