Michael J. Collins at rest April 18, 2002, at the age of 73. He was the beloved husband of Beverly Collins of Hillsborough; loving father of Linda Collins Barre and father-in-law of Robert P. Barre; proud grandfather of Michael Collins Barre and Daniel Collins Barre; dear brother of George S. (Dorothy) Clark and Patricia Papest; brother-in-law of Charles and Barbara Leider; son-in-law of Louise Leider; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Michael was a real estate broker with Michael J. Collins Realty. He and his family operated Crystal Springs Golf Course for more than 50 years where he was also a member. He was a member of the San Mateo Lodge #1112, B.P.O. Elks. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 22, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at O'Connell's Chapel, 1311 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo followed by entombment at Hills Eternity Cemetery, Colma. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the mortuary. Contributions to your favorite charity are preferred.
Jack D. Locke
Jack D. Locke passed away April 18, 2002. He was born in Verona, Ohio, on May 10, 1929, and has been a resident of San Mateo for 44 years. His wife, Helen Locke, sister Joann and beloved granddaughter Audra Locke, preceded him in death. His sons, Richard Locke, of San Mateo and Ken Locke, of Weaverville; his daughter-in-law Carolyn, grandchildren Jacob and Jessica; siblings Linda, Connie, Vicki, Donna, Beverly and William survive him. Jack loved his grandchildren and the Elks Lodge, where he was a longtime member. He enjoyed and played Pedro and Snooker with his close friends.
Friends are invited to attend memorial services Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1 Notre Dame Ave., San Mateo. Inurnment will be private. Contributions to the San Mateo Elks Fund, 229 W. 20th Ave., San Mateo, CA 94403 are preferred.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Siri for 49 years. Loving mother of Mary Nano (her husband Joe) of Daly City and stepsons Daniel Siri (his wife Juliette) of Woodside and Joseph Siri Jr. of Carson City, Nev. Also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great great-grandson. A native of Eureka, Calif., aged 90 years. A former member of Branch #19 I.C.F. A special thank you from her family in Daly City for their loving care and kindness.
The funeral will leave the Chapel of the Highlands, El Camino Real at Millwood drive in Millbrae on Monday at 9:45 a.m. for Saint Dunstan's Catholic Church in Millbrae where a Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Committal will be at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. Family and friends may visit on Sunday after 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Chapel of the Highlands, with a vigil service beginning at 4 p.m. Her family appreciates donations to the Mid-Peninsula Pathways Hospice.
