In the cold December rain

Burlingame patrons brave the rain Monday afternoon and meteorologists expect scattered storms and showers across the Peninsula into Wednesday morning with generally drier weather from Dec. 21 to Dec. 25, with another storm system predicted later in the week next week. In the past 36 hours, Redwood City received around a half-inch of rain and SFO around three-quarters of an inch. Before Monday, Redwood City had received only around 1.16 inches of rain since the weather year began on Oct. 1, forecasters said.
