A 31-year-old Hayward man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after rear-ending another vehicle at a red light in San Bruno early Tuesday morning, police said.
Melguis Lemus allegedly rear-ended the other vehicle at the intersection of El Camino Real and Taylor Avenue around 12:10 a.m., according to police.
Leums was found to be intoxicated and was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving on a suspended license, and operating a vehicle that is not equipped with a functioning ignition interlock device, police said.
He was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, and no other injuries were reported in the crash.
