• A Draft Environmental Impact Assessment is available for the proposed development at the northeast corner of Third Avenue and El Camino Real in San Mateo. The proposal calls for the former gas station site to be redeveloped into a 33,358-square-foot building with office and retail use.
The DEIA is available for review at the Planning Division of City Hall, 330 W. 20th Ave. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the proposal at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at City Hall, 330 W. 20th Ave.
• The property owners of 3000 to 3155 Clearview Way is seeking permits to renovate the interior and exterior of the office buildings. The property is near the College of San Mateo and was previous the Visa headquarters. No heritage trees will be removed, the existing windows will remain and the existing roof will remain. The existing wood exterior will be replaced with a painted textured material to resemble cement plaster.
