A former educator who worked for a now-closed charter school in North Fair Oaks has been arrested after an extensive investigation revealed he had sexual relationships with two students who were minors, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect, 31-year-old Anthony G. GutierrezMolina of Palo Alto, worked as a coach and program manager for Summit Everest, a public charter high school in North Fair Oaks that closed in 2025. GutierrezMolina is not believed to have been working as an educator since the closure of Summit Everest, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
