Crews have restored water flow to residents of El Camino Real and Madison Avenue in Redwood City early Sunday morning, several hours after a water main broke in the area the previous evening.
Redwood City Public Works and PG&E personnel were in the area of El Camino Real and Madison Avenue to repair the water main break that was first reported by Redwood police at around 7:58 p.m. Saturday. Crews finished the repair work at around 4:23 a.m. Sunday.
One southbound lane of El Camino Real between Madison and Vera Avenues that had to be shut down due to the water main break has also been reopened to traffic, Redwood City police said.
