A Redwood City man was arrested Thursday for stealing from customers while he was working as a Comcast technician in Daly City and Half Moon Bay, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
In September 2016 and August 2017, Christian Ivan Arias-Monroy, 31, was sent to customer’s homes for repairs. He stole jewelry at three separate locations, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The Daly City Police Department and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office worked together during the investigation and obtained a $130,000 felony arrest warrant. On Thursday, detectives from the Daly City Police Department and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office apprehend and arrest the suspect on the outstanding warrant. The suspect was booked into the San Mateo County Jail, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
