A traffic incident between a car and a bicycle at Arch Street and Broadway resulted in the death of the rider Friday night, according to Redwood City police.
At about 6:34 p.m. Aug. 16, police were called to the scene and found the bicyclist unconscious.
The bicyclist was taken to Stanford Hospital but died there as a result of injuries from the collision. The driver remained at the scene, was cooperative and there was no indication of being under the influence, according to police.
