Audra Pittman was selected to serve as acting superintendent of the Bayshore Elementary School District effective July 1, according to a press release sent out Friday by the district and the San Mateo County Office of Education.
The San Mateo County Office of Education has entered into an agreement with Bayshore’s Board of Trustees to provide superintendent, business office and other services for a period of up to two years. The agreement will assist the Bayshore as it transitions from sharing services with the Brisbane Elementary School District to returning to its status as an independent school district.
During this transitional time, Pittman will serve in a part-time capacity as acting superintendent while also continuing to work on other duties at the San Mateo County Office of Education.
Pittman has been the educational services coordinator for the San Mateo County Office of Education for the past three years.
