Kyle Perry, middle, was named Volunteer of the Year at the Tim Griffith Foundation’s 14th Annual gala held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the San Mateo Elks Lodge. He stands with TGF Board of Directors member Derek Ytreeide, left, and founder Stacey Redman, who created the foundation to honor her son who was killed in September of 2004. The foundation provides support for Tim’s House, a transitional housing facility for young men in substance abuse treatment, and for Meadowlark Retreat, a weekend residential program supporting mothers or fathers who have lost a child.
