Museum gotta see um

Intel Corporation is the world’s largest semiconductor company and also makes motherboard chipsets, network cards and ICs, flash memory, graphic chips, embedded processors and other devices related to communications and computing. The 10,000 square foot museum showcases Intel’s history and offers a unique Silicon Valley experience for thousands of visitors from around the world each year. The museum’s interactive learning stations allow children to write their names in binary code, learn how different size files move over a network or try on a bunny (cleanroom) suit. Multi-media presentations display technological innovations.

Intel Museum is located in the Robert Noyce Building at 2200 Mission College Blvd., Santa Clara. Open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed holidays. Free self-guided audio tours are available in Chinese (Mandarin), English, French, German, Japanese, Korean or Spanish. Free youth or school group tours available by appointment. Bags and backpacks are not allowed in the museum, but cameras are permitted.
