But did you also know that the California regional part of the contest is held at The Shops at Tanforan Saturday at noon on Saturday? Cheer on the semi-finalists as they vie for the top spot to go to Coney Island. But wait, there’s more. A Neat Eating Contest for children up to 16 starts at 11:30 a.m. Kids who are interested get picked out of the crowd and every child who participates in the Neat Eating Contest receives a goody bag at the Shops at Tanforan. 1150 El Camino Real, San Bruno. Temple bazaar
The San Mateo Buddhist Temple holds its Annual Bazaar Saturday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. There are traditional Japanese and American foods, game booths, bingo and entertainment.
