Summer Movie Preview: Jon Favreau wants to inspire a new generation to fall in love with Star Wars

Jon Favreau finally has his own Star Wars movie coming to theaters. He’s been dreaming about this since he was a kid. Favreau has been involved in Star Wars projects before, like “The Mandalorian,” but “The Mandalorian and Grogu” which opens in theaters May 22 is different. It isn’t just season four on the big screen. Favreau says it’s important to invite new fans into the Star Wars universe. The film features familiar characters like Din Djarin and Grogu and introduces new ones. Favreau is excited to bring the spectacle of Star Wars to IMAX, with bigger sets and more time to create.
