OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — AJ Storr poured in 19 points, Ilias Kamardine added 15, and Ole Miss eased past UL Monroe 86-65 on Friday.
It's the second consecutive game Storr has scored at least 18 points after joining Ole Miss from Kansas in the transfer portal.
Storr was 5 of 9 from the field and 4 of 6 from 3-point range. Kamardine added a game-high seven assists, and Malik Dia had 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting.
The Rebels (2-0) were 15 of 33 from 3-point range (45%). They opened the game on a 7-0 run, and had runs of 12-0 and 8-0 in the first half to take a 47-28 lead into the break.
The Warhawks (0-2) were led by Krystian Lewis' 17 points on 5-of-15 shooting. MJ Russell added 15 on 6-of-19 shooting. UL Monroe shot 37% from the field as a team. ___
