The Bearcats are, however, averaging 296 yards rushing per game. … Mountain View snapped a three-game winning streak with the win over Carlmont. … The 42 points was the second-most for Mountain View this season. The Spartans scored 46 in a season-opening win. … The Spartans defense is allowing 43 points per game.

The Wildcats defense has surrendered a total of 46 points through five games. … Woodside threw for a season-low 44 yards passing, but the Wildcats rushed for a season-high 256 yards. … Wildcats running back Daniel Torres has scored 10 touchdowns already this season. … Hillsdale has scored more than 14 points only once this season — a 27-6 win over Terra Nova. … The defense has given the Knights a chance to win in three of their five games. They gave up 12 in a win over Overfelt, gave up six in the win over Terra Nova and held Burlingame to 17 two weeks ago.
