A man was stabbed when a fight broke out at a bar and restaurant in San Mateo County early Sunday morning and deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
The “large fight” at Old Princeton Landing Bar & Grill was reported at about 12:15 a.m., according to a news release from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the business at 460 Capistrano Road, in the unincorporated community of Princeton-by-the-Sea, and found a 29-year-old person with a stab wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
A knife allegedly used in the fight was found and the suspect is described as Hispanic, mid-30s, bald with possibly a neck tattoo.
The stabbing was being investigated as of Sunday afternoon. The Sheriff’s Office asked anyone with information to contact the detective leading the investigation at rdeschler@smcgov.org or (650) 363-4881.

The Sheriff’s Office said the fight was considered an isolated event and that there was no threat to the community.
