Carlmont 3, Hillsdale 2
The Scots (3-2 PAL Bay, 9-5 overall) earned their second straight win, battling back for a 23-25, 21-25, 29-27, 25-12, 15-13 victory at Hillsdale (1-4, 6-11). Senior middle Rohan Rajagopal led Carlmont with 13 kills with a .650 hitting percentage, while sophomore Jonathan Edwards recorded a double-double with 12 kills and 18 digs. Austin Chen scored a match-high 27 kills for Hillsdale.
Sequoia 3, El Camino 2
Outside hitter Cade Miller led the way as the 6-5 senior connected for 30 kills, as the Ravens (2-0 PAL Ocean, 9-5 overall) rallied for a back-and-forth 25-19, 12-25, 29-27, 25-27, 15-12 victory at home over El Camino (0-1, 2-2). Sequoia has now won three straight.

South City (2-0 PAL Ocean) rolled to a 25-19, 25-15, 25-9 sweep at Capuchino (0-2).
Boys’ lacrosse
Menlo-Atherton 10 Palo Alto 2
The Bears (3-0 PAL Bay, 5-2 overall) won their 26th straight match in league play, dating back to 2022, with a well-balanced effort at Palo Alto (1-1, 2-2). M-A got two goals apiece from Spencer Cadigan, Colin Kryger and Bruno Szollar, while Eric Torre, Will Torre and Carey Wolf scored one goal apiece. Sam Janik and Shalin Dwivedi each scored for the Vikings.
M-A’s last league loss came when the program played in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League. The Bears fell April 21, 2022, to Los Gatos in an 8-7 double-overtime thriller. Since moving to the PAL Bay Division in 2023, M-A has posted a perfect 23-0 league record.

Westmoor 115, Capuchino 40
Justin Ferrer had a productive day at the PAL Ocean Division dual meet, highlighted by his 200-yard individual medley win with a CCS qualifying time of 1 minute, 56.54 seconds. Ferrer teamed in the 200 medley relay with Kyle Chen, Marcus Lee and Jackson Grafilo for a 1:44.06 time, also a CCS qualifier. Ferrer, Chen, George Seftel and Grafilo also won the 200 free relay with a CCS qualifying time of 1:33.21.

The PAL Bay Division dual meet at Woodside featured the Wildcats’ Clara Young spanning the individual freestyle events, winning the 50 free in 24.52 and the 500 free in 5:21.52, both CCS qualifying times. Young also led Woodside’s 200 medley relay team to first place in 1:55.53, and the 200 free relay team in 3:55.50. Young also anchored the medley relay team of Makayla Cox, Kate Stevenson and Charlotte Teague, and joined the medley relay team and Teague, Reese McCallum, and Stevenson.
