The Burlingame 200-yard medley relay team of Justin Chiang, Sam Foo, Kieran Clarke and Andrew Lee claimed a first-place time of 1 minute, 47.56 seconds to record a CCS qualifying time in the event.

Burlingame’s Alexa Chang recorded three CCS qualifying times. She notched two individually, with wins in the 100 backstroke in 59.19, and in the 200 free in 1:58.42. Chang also teamed with St. Clair Mendoza, Abby Zarahn and Catherine Kwong in the 200 free relay for a time of 1:44.94.

The Bears (7-1 PAL Bay, 21-2 overall) got back in the win column with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-23 sweep at home over San Mateo (4-4, 9-5). M-A was coming off its first loss in league play of the season the previous week against Burlingame. Senior setter Peter Chriss recorded a triple-double with 14 kills, 14 digs and 23 assist, while junior Millo Skhiri totaled five blocks for M-A. San Mateo was paced by Aaron Guo’s 13 kills.
Aragon 3, Carlmont 0
The Dons (3-5 PAL Bay, 12-15 overall) earned a 26-24, 25-21, 25-23 sweep at home over Carlmont (3-4, 10-7). Senior Isaac Nagao paced Aragon with 13 kills, junior Cameron Ngai totaled four blocks, sophomore Peyton Chiang totaled 16 digs, and junior setter Santiago Smirnoff recorded 31 assists.
Hillsdale 3, Mills 0
The Knights (2-6 PAL Bay, 10-14 overall) swept 25-19, 25-19, 25-21 at home against Mills (0-8, 1-8). Nils Bennebroek paced Hillsdale with nine kills, while Austin Chen and Nathan Sprowl added seven apiece.
El Camino 3, Jefferson 0
The Colts (4-1 PAL Ocean, 6-6 overall) earned their third straight league win 25-17, 25-12, 25-11 at home against Jefferson (1-3, 3-12). Junior outside hitter Tyler Lin led El Camino with 11 kills, while junior libero Elijah Buenaflor picked up 14 digs.
